Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)The Krups Coffee/Spice Mill is a good value for the money.I use it primarily for grinding toasted seeds for Indian dishes (cardomman pods, cloves, cumin seed, peppercorns, coriander seed, mustard seed, chiles etc.).I read the reviews on how the plastic lid will 'cloud' from certain spices (e.g., cloves) and that doesn't matter to me.This grinder isn't a piece of artwork - it's a cooking tool.Where I used to spend 20 minutes with a hand-operated mill, the Krups does the same thing in about 5 seconds. It cleans up easily - it's all self-contained and there aren't any burrs to clean out - it's totally blade-operated.In a perfect world, it would grind more precisely (fine to coarse) - but that would require burrs and the cleaning associated with them.So for me and my needs, it's a good value for the money. The time I saved with the first usage more than pays for the machine.
