(More customer reviews)I have this exact grinding mechanism on a different base.It is not very sharp so it takes a lot of pushing and pulling to get the beans to pass through the teeth. The grind is uneven, and the beans pop out of the hopper while grinding.The hopper is also rather small, so it takes several refills to get enough for a pot.BUT, the flavor of the coffee is superior to electric grinders.
